 This last series I was working on was of intimate paintings of women under fabrics and I got inspired by some of my own pictures my photographer friend took of me years ago and I decided to do a series on it. Transparent fabrics draped over the female form can evoke a sense of vulnerability, delicacy, and intimacy. They hint at the layers of complexity within femininity, revealing without fully exposing. interplay of light and shadow through the sheer material can symbolize aspects of femininity capturing both strength and softness at the same time.
